The idea for Funny Duck was hatched when after the birth of our first son we received several congratulatory baskets from friends and co-workers that were filled with many items we simply could not use. It was frustrating to know that such generosity and wonderful intentions had in most cases resulted in gift baskets that weren't much more than filler and fluff.

This point was driven home when we looked to find high quality, fun filled gift baskets to send to our family and friends when they had new babies and their kids had birthdays. After a lot of on-line looking and much disappointment, we would end up having to go shopping and put our own gift packages together. Running from store to store to find the perfect gifts, then packing and shipping these creations was time consuming and begged the question: why couldn't somebody do this the right way? Put together really great items--quality things that are useful and fun--and make it all easy to send. It is a concept that seemed to be missing from today's baby gift landscape, so we thought we would do it and make it easy for you!
